Once you understand everything about that one individual hair strand, its chemical composition, how it’s created from a cellular level, how various hair textures behave in so many different ways etc, you begin to assess it at various levels. During my week stay in London, I was excited to have the opportunity to see the Chanel exhibition entitled: Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto currently showing at the V&A Museum. In her career spanning 60years, Gabrielle Chanel has transformed women’s garments with her innovative ideas and pioneering approach to fabric and construction.
Her fashion manifesto was all about designing modern wear based on comfort, simplicity and ease of movement.
