SALON POLICIES

 

At Yoko’s Haute Coiffure & b-yu Head Spa, our mission is to provide exceptional and high-quality service to each and every client. For that reason, it is important that we have the following policies for the protection of our clients and team members at Yoko’s:

BOOKINGS:

All appointments are pre-booked. Bookings may be made online or by calling our salon during business hours. Please note, a 50% deposit is required for all our services.

Please note, our Double Head Spa service (2 people done simultaneously) and our Colour/hair treatment/Cut full session may only be booked via calling our salon directly.

 

DEPOSIT POLICY:

Deposits are non-refundable but transferrable.  You can reschedule your appointment and your deposit will be transferred over to your future booking.  If you are unable to reschedule, please contact us at least 48hrs before your appointment.  Note: No-shows will be automatically charged the basic full price (the starting price of one’s hair length) of their service.  Please note to all U.S. clients: Our business is located in Vancouver, B.C., CANADA.  Please ensure prior to paying your deposit that your deposit will not be refunded due to negligence on your behalf (ie. mistakenly booking assuming we are in the U.S.)

 

ONLINE BOOKING NOTIFICATIONS:

For clients booked in for our Signature Head Spa, Follow-up scalp treatment or for our Yoko’s Haute Coiffure Experience: Please avoid shampooing for 48 hours prior to your service so that we may analyze your scalp.

Please note, the final balance one pays at the end of the service will vary. The amount indicated next to “Pay at location” on any of our confirmation emails is only a starting price. This is not the final price as this may vary based on actual condition of scalp/hair, density/length. This is because we will be using more of certain products or taking extra treatment steps to achieve the best possible results for your scalp and hair.

 

NO CHILDREN POLICY:

Due to safety considerations, limited space and being a distraction to all other guests who are here to recharge and enjoy their quiet “me” time, all children are not permitted in the salon.   Parents may book for our Head Spa / Scalp Treatments for their children beyond 13years of age. 

 

CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING:

Cancellations or rescheduling may be done online as long as it is up to 48hrs of your service. All changes made after 48 hours will be subject to us keeping the 50% deposit as a service fee.

 

ARRIVAL:

Please arrive on time or arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This is to ensure that clients have the time to find parking, find our location, settle themselves in and fill out our consultation forms. Rushing in and causing delay on our services will cause stress on both clients and our team members.

 

 

TARDINESS:

If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule. We may provide a shortened service, however, you will be asked to pay the price of the full service. If the delay is over 30min and no service may be offered, we will be keeping the 50% deposit as a penalty fee.

 

 

NO SHOW:

Failing to show up to an appointment without any prior notice will allow Yoko’s Haute Coiffure & b-yu Head Spa to charge the basic full price of the intended service.  Clients who prebook their consecutive appointment without paying a deposit and who fail to cancel or reschedule 48hrs in advance and do not show up on their scheduled appointment  will be charged a $95 no show fee.

 

 

 

 

ONLINE ORDERS:

Due to supply chain issues, our e-shop remains closed. However, we are accepting orders via email. FREE SHIPPING within BC (Tri-City, Mission, Maple Ridge, Vancouver, West and North Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Delta) on orders over $150. Additional shipping cost for orders made from outside Metro Vancouver and from Alberta. Just send us your order request to info@b-yu.com. Once you receive confirmation, please e-transfer the amount and shipment will be arranged ASAP.
