On the second to fourth day, we had the opportunity to work on our own models/clients. I specifically wanted models who were wanting dramatic change or those who preferred sweet short haircuts 🙂
Here is my first lovely model, Chelsie, who just had her colour freshly done upstairs in the Academy. She wanted a short asymmetrical sharp angular box bob. I learned different techniques and approaches to cutting this shape thanks to Daniel, my instructor for that day. Here is her BEFORE / AFTER:
We all know that most women like to change up their looks, right? So I wanted to get a shot of her with a different side part with a more soft, roughed up look:
An intriguing technical presentation done by one of my many favourite instructors, Sharz, was done on this cool model, Phoebe, who clearly had her own amazing sense of style. The makeup, the clothing and now the hair, all gave her that “Total Look”. The cut created was based on the modern version of Sassoon’s 5 point cut heritage look, but with a super fun modern twist. LOVE IT!!:
