When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you look at your hair first?… OR your SCALP?
If anything, it should be the latter. Your scalp is a barometer of your health and that is the terrain where hair grows, just like growing those tasty vegetables in fertile soil.
SO WHAT COLOUR IS YOUR SCALP?:
WHITE: This is the ideal colour. If it’s translucent with no flakes, not oily or dry and slightly soft to the touch, it’s perfectly healthy!. But this may change with age and changes in diet and lifestyle, so always be mindful.
YELLOW: You may have overactive sebum secretion clogging your follicles. It’s a sign of scalp oxidization. Must start using the right hair care products and reflect on your lifestyle.
PINK: Your scalp is weak and showing decreased micro-circulation throughout the scalp. You may be lacking in hydrolipidic protective barrier. You may be allergy-prone and reflecting internal inflammation.
RED: Better watch out as this is a “red flag”. This is the next step from a pink scalp reflecting declined immune system, sun burn or external cause of inflammation, along with bad micro-circulation.
BROWN: You may need serious detoxing as this may be reflecting bad blood circulation, thickening and accumulation of toxicity in the blood and buildup of impurities within the body which need to be drained out. Touch wood, so far we haven’t had any clients in this stage!
